The Goal programme is based round Letters and Sounds phonics scheme and offers structured progression over five levels. The level 1 pack includes six books with only pictures and no words, to introduce students to books and narratives without focusing on texts. It corresponds to Phase 1 of Letters and Sounds. It includes one accompanying workbook and titles such as The Big Match and The Silver Ball.
