There are underground tunnels, mysterious seaside coves, strange happenings late at night, magic tricks and surprises at every turn as the children desperately try to find a way out of the ever-tightening net surrounding them. This is an old-fashioned adventure story with a clever twist that brings it bang up to date for the present-day reader. Breathtakingly exciting and fast paced with shocks and cliff hangers throughout, the action never lets up as the characters plunge ahead in their search for the meaning behind the extraordinary goings on at Danger Island.
