Meet
the Signing Friends - a series focused on helping you and your child learn
Makaton through story books. Produced in association with the Makaton Charity.
Each
book features colourful and inclusive illustrations alongside stories that
utilise vocabulary from the Makaton Communication Programme. Inside you'll
find a QR code which will take you to a bespoke video demonstrating how to sign
the text so that you can in turn read and enjoy the book with your child/ren. Please
note Makaton signs and symbols are not featured in the book. There will be
supporting resources available for each title.
Join Poppy and her friends as we learn the signs for
each month of the year and the four seasons. Each page for the month has lots
of seasonal imagery for you to enjoy and to talk about with your child.
