Created in collaboration with the Play Team at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), this interactive board book encourages children to explore their feelings though touch-and-feel monster characters.Playful, friendly monsters prompt the reader to empathise with them as the child guesses the monsters’ feelings based on their facial expression or body language. Simple text encourages the reader to interact with the touch-and-feel patches, exploring how the tactile makes them feel.  The Feelings Book includes: 

  •  Five key feelings to explore though lovable monster characters in entertaining scenes.
  •  A tab with emoji-style faces accompanied by simple feeling words – visible from every page, which encourages discussion.
  •  Vibrant, bold and funny illustrations from Miguel Ordenez will keep little ones entertained and engaged.
  •  A multi-sensory experience with a variety of touch-and-feel materials to stroke and examine!
  •  Simple, accessible vocabulary, which covers feelings both big and small. 
 The Feelings Book helps children to think and talk about what the characters in the book are feeling, and also what they feel in response to tactiles and questions. Providing perfect, simple tools to help children explore their feelings, particularly if they find this difficult.  A charitable donation is given to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity for every copy sold.
