Join the kids of the Science Club and discover forces through a combination of adventure, activity and experiment in this fun, story-based series.

Oh no! Paola has knocked over Mrs Khan's bag and everything has fallen on the floor. Mrs Khan says this is an excellent way to start off their latest topic - forces and magnets. The Science Club find out all about forces and how they work by playing a game of football and by testing the strength of pushes and pulls using a force meter. They also learn about a very special force - magnetism - and investigate some magnetic objects, including Earth itself

The Science Club follows a group of science-mad kids who meet at a club where they learn about science through their own experiences and discoveries. For example, at one club someone brings in a fossil, leading to an investigation into the rock cycle, dinosaurs and fossil formation. At another, a storm inspires the children to learn about lightning and other forms of electricity. Each story features sweet, humorous illustrations and includes simple experiments for readers to try for themselves.
