There's a party at Charles's house on Saturday, and his friend Minnie hasn't received an invitation. As the week goes on she feels unhappily left out, until Saturday comes. Charles and Minnie are the best of friends. Charles even names his mealworm after her! So why doesn't he invite Minnie to the party at his house this coming Saturday? Minnie spends the week hoping to get an invitation, growing more and more despondent as it doesn't arrive. Sad and angry, she feels very left out, until the day of the party arrives and she discovers the truth at last.
