This poetry book is a result of a national initiative. Christina Gabbitas, wanted a writing initiative that children of all abilities could have an opportunity to take part in with the chance of having their work published. This A4 size poetry book has been written and illustrated by UK children, to help encourage and inspire other children of primary school age to read and write. The topics are Teamwork and Friendship and Fears and Phobias. Christina says, "I received some wonderful rhymes from all over the UK, which has been very encouraging. Selecting the poems has been challenging and greatly rewarding. The imagination and effort invested by these budding poets makes their poems a pleasure to read over and over again." GBP1.00 from the sale of each book will be donated and divided between the British Dyslexia Association and Barnardos.
