The second book in The Grandad Whose Head Fell Off series continues the entertaining adventures of Anthony (AKA `Tonks`) as he tries his best to restrain his Grandad`s activities. In this episode Grandad pursues his sporting dream and enjoys great success until ........ he falls to bits. Unfortunately, this time, Anthony cannot help. A surprise event saves the day (and Grandad.) As always everything turns out well in the end. The delightful illustrations from Sylvia Farrow greatly enhance this tale of cheerful absurdities. The gentle humour will appeal to children and adults alike.
