Having previously published two non-fiction books on mysterious UFO lights sighted around the village in which she lives, Margaret Anne Harvey has now penned two bittersweet children's stories; one factual and one fictional. The first is based on a dream the author had, and tells of the friendship which develops between a young deaf-and-dumb girl and a wild pony. The second records the amusing activities of the wild birds which inhabit the author's garden (people's names have been changed in the story); in particular it is the tale of a baby blue tit which became a domesticated family pet called Sooty because his feathers were black.
