Anything with Quentin Blake as the author is a hit in our house, we love the quirky illustrations and the random rhyming.  Really good fun to read and great for children learning about rhymes.  Highly recommended.

This is just a fabulous book! Firstly the illustrations, (and who doesn't love Quentin Blake's drawings?), are eye catching and full of life. My three year old enjoyed pointing out the funny quirky characters, especially the pink and green elephant. My 5 year old really loved the rhyme scheme, and we had lots of fun discussion about what she'd put in the pockets. It's a great book, wonderful for both boys and girls. Teachers - This book would also lead to some great poetry writing from a class! Brilliant stimulus.

This story is one that delighted both my granddaughter (who is 1) and our year 1 class in school. My granddaughter loved the pictures especially the green and pink elephant! Year one really enjoyed the rhyming throughout the story and the assortment of things that came out of Angelica sprockets pockets such as alligators, icecream, ducks and boats!! A really fun story which promoted lots of discussions with children about what else could be kept in Angelica's pockets xx lovely illustrations as always from Quentin Blake! I would recommend it for children under 6.

Quentin Blake's illustrations bring back so many happy childhood memories and stories, to read a book to my daughter with as much magic is wonderful.  We loved this book, what a quirky lady, now we all want a coat with pockets full of magic. Mary Poppin's eat your heart out, she may have a bag but this coat is just splendid. Who doesn't need some snappy alligators from time to time to whip out if your pocket?! What a great story to spark imagination in children's minds, and beautiful bright illustrations. Just delightful.

I loved this book and so did my little boy. The book is about a lady who has a coat with many pockets. The pages see Angelica removing different things from her pockets and even I was eager to find our what would next. The rhyming language made this even more interesting with me wondering what possibly rhymed with the previous pocket item. A great book for any age! I'm sure my year 1 class will just live it when we look at poetry later in the year!

Lovely book from Quentin Blake, we like his illustrations and this book makes my 3 year old laugh. She loves all the silly things that are pulled from the pockets and likes to hint up new things that could be in there.

Quentin Blake's illustrations are brilliant as always. This story is about the amazing and unusual things that can be found in someone's pockets. My daughter laughed out loud at some of the items. A really fun book that keeps you guessing about what could possibly appear next!

Both the kids love this book. It’s a cheerful, playful read and thanks to the rhyming it’s a pleasure to read out loud.
It centres on Angelica Sprocket and all the amazing things that come out of her innumerable pockets. It has both the kids in giggles within a minute!
The illustrations are brilliant- which is to be expected!

Eleanor chose this one from the library as she has read it at school a few times. I had not read it before so it was a new one for me! A great book by Quentin Blake and the illustrations were amazing!
Angelina Sprocket has......loads of pockets! The book goes through all the different things that Angelina finds in her pockets, from Elephants to kitchen sinks! The book rhymes beautifully and flows fro, one page to the next. Both girls pretty much knew the book of by heart after a few bedtime reads so we could all read it together!
Eleanor said that she would love to have Angelina as her friends so she could look in her pockets and find lots of Beanie Boo's (the favourite must haver toys of the momonent...!)

A lovely book to finish of the day at bedtime or in the morning to get the day started!

This is another delightful tale from Quentin Blake. Angelica Sprocket has an amazing coat with an amazing amount of pockets. Each and every one has something brilliant and unelected in it. My son loves the silliness of this book and the humorous pictures. This book is much loved in our house : )

There is a lady called Angela and she has a big coat with pockets galore. She has pockets for skateboards, for trumpets, for cheese, for mice and many more things. The book has rhyming sentences and lots of really colourful pictures. I like Quentin Blake's pictures because I like reading Roald Dahl books as well and he does the illustrations for them too. I really liked this book.

This book is great.  The illustrations are lovely and there is a very good amount of text.  Enough to engage and entertain but not so much as to need the book splitting over days.  It even made my husband laugh out loud as there were so many unexpected turns!
