I love this book! I was born in Thailand and travelled to Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, China and New Zealand so I love reminding myself of these places. Since moving back to England, we've been to France and Spain so these are the first countries I've read about. I'm reading about lots of other places that if like to go to too. I have a puzzle of the countries of the world and like using these at the same time. I love all the pictures and the funny facts. This is probably the best boom that I've reviewed!

The Travel Book is a feast of facts about every country in the world. It is a great resource for primary school children - each country has 1-2 pages of facts, figures and photo's. The layout is engaging and easy to use - this is a book that a child can dip into when they want to learn about a particular country. It is also a great way to learn about a country you may be going to go on holiday to. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic reference book for primary school ages children. A brief introduction explains how to use the book and then there is a page of information for every country in the world. My son has already made good use of this for a couple of school projects and it is clear that this is a book that will be used a lot. The book includes photographs, pictures, statistics and bite sized pieces of text. This makes it engaging and not too overwhelming for young minds. An excellent book, highly recommended.

I loved this book and will keep dipping into it as its the kind of book you a bit and then read again another time. This book has a page for each country in the world and on each page you find interesting and funny facts about that country as well as photos and drawings. For example on the page for Guatemela it tells you it has a population size of 15, 468,203 as well as its national bird is the Quetzal. Or El Salvador where they drink 450 tons of Worcestershire sauce each year and its national cake is a marmalade soaked sponge called Maria Luisa. Its a really interesting book and I think most children would find it interesting in some way

The travel book is good. It has a page for each country and fab illustrations. I liked that the book had both common facts (like you might learn at school) and fun facts and stories. You could read the book all the way through of pick the countries you want to read. I'm going to read this book lots as each time I open it I find another new fun fact.

my children love this book, they like all the funny and interesting fact that are in the book...like London's polar bear that used to live in the Tower of London and had a long leash so it could swim and catch fish in the river Thames...
i can see this book being used for many years to  come whether as a resource for school work or just as something to read to find out some more interesting facts
would recommend for every home...just an amazing book
