This is a great way to put facts in a book, while keeping it interesting. You rule is a great fact book which got my son thinking about what is needed to run a country, from religion to governments. The book also contains topics like how big, where to have your country and culture, clothing and even what songs to sing! I think this would be an amazing book to base a whole topic on and makes me wish I could have my own country. there is a great mix of interesting facts, geography and mini quizzes to get you talking, such a fun book!

So I loved this book because we had just got a letter from the queen's office- we wrote one to them first. First you pick a place to rule (a bit like the 'you choose' books but for bigger children like me). You can rule outside in space too and it tells you all about places like Monaco and how many people lives there- mum says that's educational but I like the fun facts like a town in New Zealand making a goat its president in 1989 and then a dog after that. It's a big book with great pictures. For girls and boys aged 7- 16

Both me and my younger brother read this book and liked it a lot. It helped us imagine we were ruling a country and gave us lots of decisions to make like how we would lead and our country and who we would get to help, how we would make money to help our country prosper and whether we would have a national anthem. We both liked it because it was a nice mixture of pictures facts and writing and it was all done in a fun way
