I like the way this book is aimed at my sons age group. It has great range of the typical questions child aged 10-14 might ask. and some very straight forward and helpful answers. It covers everything from stress, sleep and how you might feel about your body and what you eat. I like the bright fun modern style illustrations which break the book into informative chunks.

I'm very impressed with Dr Christian book. I felt like it had been write in view of the teens and think my son will relate to this very well and will aid us both with those tricky question children ask and one doesn't quite know whether you've explained it right or whether they have understood.

I really liked this book, it had a good mix of topics, and really made me look at my life. I particularly liked the chapters about healthy eating and emotions. The book was easy to read, I read it page by page, but you could just read the parts which you want to know more about. I also liked the illustrations and use of colours, as well as the glossy pages, giving the book a nice quality about it.

Dr.Christian’s guide to you
I like this book because it tells you about how to be healthy and keep fit.It also tells you what is the best and healthiest meals to be eating daily. This book answered some of my questions that I’ve been wanting to know.
This book tells you how you might feel and why it is happening and he explains it so you’re not the only one who feels like you are .It tells you that when you look at yourself  you think you’re fat or unhealthily but you’re not. You’re probably doing the right thing .This book is suitable for people who are around 9 -14.It’s a really handy guide for what you should be  eating and doing also it tells you how much exercise you should be getting weekly.

Thank you to toppsta and Dr.Christian

Mum: This book was meant for his older sister to read but Charlie eagerly grabbed it first and couldn't put it down. It answers a lot of questions that youngsters may have but don't necessarily want to discuss with their parents. The illustrations are colourful but not immature and the book doesn't patronise kids. There's lots of information in there and it's easy to read either cover to cover like Charlie or pick it up and read each section when appropriate. Charlie now feels he has a better understanding of what is happening to him as he goes through puberty and he is finally eating a healthier diet!

I've always been a fan of Dr Christian's no nonsense approach to medical matters, and I very pleased to say this transfers well into this book. It's bang up to date covering teen issues such as body image and social media, exam stress, self harming, fast food vs healthy eating. What I particularly liked is how the issues are discussed with reasons why they maybe happening to a teenager right now and what practical strategies there are to combat them.
There are also various 'Ask Dr Christian' pages like 'Why do I eat more when I'm depressed?', 'I look really fat in the mirror!', 'My Gran died last week and I can't stop crying', and 'My friend is trying to make my smoke'. These have non patronising answers that would really help a teenager.
I am very impressed, and would definitely recommend the book for either boys or girls for 13+.  Would provide a good platform for discussions at home.
