Spellbinders

Each English language reader in this elementary-level programme encourages pupils to read aloud in the classroom or play-act the parts of their favourite characters. The syllabus is graded by structure and vocabulary so that the books can be used in conjunction with any other elementary course. Simple everyday idioms are introduced in a controlled manner, appropriate to the learner's age and communication needs. Each reader contains two pages of activities which provide a balance of structural and communicative practice, plus teacher's notes that give practical hints on developing reading skills.
