Kegan's life could do with a change. Stuck with a bullying drunken dad and mum who is too worn down to care, the only pleasure in Kegan's life is to go to the scrapyard and draw the foxes he has discovered there. When the worst happens, it is only his fight to save the foxes from the developers, with the help of his friend, Zoe, that enables him to keep going through the dark days that follow. The foxes, and his drawing, give Kegan a reason to keep going and restore his faith in the future.
