Both "The Speller's Bag and Other Poems" (Year 5/Primary 6) and "The Moonlit Stream and Other Poems" (Year 6/Primary 7) contain a selection of poems by some outstanding poets including Christina Rossetti, John Agard, Allan Ahlberg, and Kit Wright. These poems have been selected with the view to entertain children and to fulfil all the poetry range and teaching requirements of the NLS at years 5-6. Each book has been beautifully illustrated by a range of children's illustrators, including Chris Molan, Stephen Waterhouse, Doffy Weir, and Rhian Nest James.
