The moon is high, the hour is late,

Goat is napping by the gate.

But . . .

THE SHEEP WON'T SLEEP!

A sleepy sheepdog struggles to put a hundred naughty sheep to bed in this chaotic farmyard romp with silly sheep to count on every page - can you find all 100?

A delightful rhyming read that's perfect for bedtime - from the creators of Old Macdonald had a Farm. A search and find book for a slighly younger readership than Where's Wally? Suitable for kids ages 3 and up.

This book makes us laugh every time we read it. The title is pretty self explanatory really. We love the gentle bedtime rhyme which contrasts with the crazy counting of the sheep. It's brilliant to read aloud and got my children counting in tens too...which is an added bonus!

We do love a rhyming book and this one was no exception!  Really good fun seeing what all those naughty sheep got up to when they should have been sleeping - a perfect bedtime story!

This is really good fun, the sheep go on all sorts of crazy adventures, and there are 100 sheep to count! My lo loved joining in with "The sheep won't sleep" and even shouts it after we've put her to bed! I really enjoyed reading this out loud!

We chose to read this book because my daughter loves sheep. It was quite a nice book filled with different animals but it's maybe suited to children who are a little bit older than mine. It encourages counting and as such I wouldn't recommend it as a bedtime story with it being quite stimulating.
