I got this on 3 for 2 books in a high street store. I picked this up thinking it was a sing along book. It's a audio book CD with it . It's still really good, perfect for a toddler . Sophie loved holding the hardback book. She didn't sit for all three story's just two but I'll pop the third one on another time, nice short tales about animals. Nice tabs on each page to make turning them easier and fun. Nice bright bold interesting book. The audio CD was good and had great sound effects that kept her interested.

We've sat and listened to all three story's now. We sometimes put it on for nap time which she likes. Lovely short storys. The kitten story is our favourite.

If you're expecting something to the level of the likes of the Gruffalo then you'll be disappointed, but for a very young child this is a good book. Our one year old enjoys turning the pages, which he can easily do with the handy tabs. Short stories means he doesn't get bored or wander off before it's finished. As always great illustrations. The CD is nice to listen to, no annoying voice reading the stories.
