BOOK OF THE MONTH: Multi-award-winning author Brian Conaghan's first book for readers aged 10+ is a future classic about an unexpected friendship, brimming with humour and heart.
We understand just how hard it is to get budget and resource for books, particularly at the moment when we're all working hard to keep children and staff safe during the pandemic. Sign up to our monthly newsletter and you'll be the first to know about all our free books and resources for schools.
We have a variety of offers for schools based in the UK & IE each month (though some are only for UK), including
1. Free School Resources
We're delighted to announce that this year we'll be offering even more FREE SCHOOL RESOURCES including posters, teachers notes, bookmarks and more. We'd love you to share pictures of you using the resources in your school. We'll choose a winner for each display and send them some book prizes!
Teachers Notes: an in-depth classroom guide with teaching suggestions as well as reflections and discussion points for each chapter
Discussion Guide: a concise and engage resource with thought-provoking discussion points. Ideal for book clubs/reading groups but can also be used in the classroom
10 x bright and eye-catching posters
2. Our Free Book Giveaways
Schools are welcome to enter our book giveaways in exchange for an honest review (UK & IE Only). Please note however, we do prefer a review from a child or at least a child's opinion of the book (although it doesn't matter who actually writes the review). If a teacher or librarian would also like to review the book, it's a bonus.
3. A Free Box of Books
Every month we send one lucky school a box of free books! To enter just fill out the form and tell us why your school deserves to win. UK & IE Only.
