Canadian born author and adventurer Tavis Stewart has spent his life travelling the world experiencing diverse cultures and people. With a passion for social responsibility, he has helped social causes through projects in transforming disadvantaged communities through empowering educational programs.
Coming from a family who live throughout the world and love the outdoors, it was a natural pathway for Tavis to become a global adventurer. He settled in the UK where his parents live and spent many happy summers with his grandparents on the west coast of Scotland spending every waking moment climbing Ben Cruachan, his favorite mountain and fishing in Loch Etive for the trout.
Eventually his passion would take him across the globe from Japan, Nepal and India to Peru in South America all the time meeting and helping the small communities through education which would captivate his imagination and develop his social message that have become the drivers for his writing.
A father of three children, he's been inspired by his daughter and wife and the vibrant world of fashion with all its colorful characters that they are a part of.
