Susan Haynes-Elcock was born in Barbados, grew up in the Bahamas and now lives in England in the United Kingdom. She writes children's fantasy books and has written educational books on social concerns for children on HIV/AIDS and the environment. She has also written a cookbook for people living with diabetes and currently is working on a novel for adults. She has two children, but sadly no dogs, cats, gerbils or even pigs, and a very overactive imagination. She can be found creating new recipes, dancing in her kitchen, reading, gardening, or plotting, planning and writing her next book. You will also find her trying not to scrub and clean.
