  • 5 stars across 15 books

Smriti Prasadam-Halls has been a children's writer and editor for more than ten years and has written several children's books for the very young, including  Jingle Jangle Jungle  , illustrated by Axel Scheffler,  Hello, Bugs!   and  Monkey Business  .

Ian Smith spent much of his childhood drawing on walls, reading about knights and defending the sandpit from terrible dragons, (who just happened to look a lot like his sisters). When he got a bit older he moved to Bristol to study for a BA in Illustration at the University of the West of England. Before he knew it he'd turned into an illustrator (and not a knight after all).
