Sally MacLarty is a freelance illustrator from South Africa, with more than 20 years' experience, specializing in children's books, educational material and natural history. She graduated from Wits University in Johannesburg with a BA in Fine Arts. She has contributed artwork to more than 120 publications, including a previous colouring book featuring African insects. She has also held three one-person shows of her paintings and participated in several group exhibitions.
