Megan Alexandra Dell was born in Oldham, Greater Manchester and at a young age moved to Fleetwood, Lancashire where she grew up. She lived with her mother, older sister and brother. Her mother had many jobs as a manager one imp articular in a bakery before becoming a health care assistant in the local hospital. From an early age Megan loved writing, she would come home from school and make up short stories that she had thought of throughout the day and wrote her first book at age thirteen. Megan later attended Blackpool and the Fylde College before leaving 4 months later and getting a job in a factory. While working here she came up with the idea of The Other World, a place she could escape to. While Megan is not writing she is also a dog lover and enjoys taking her dog out along with her mother's dogs.
