Lucy Owen is a Welsh broadcaster and children’s author, best known as a BBC Wales news presenter.

Her debut was the heart-warming picture book Boo-A-Bog in the Park - the story of a little boy who overcome loneliness, with a little help from a very different sort of friend. Lucy’s husband, Rhodri Owen, worked with her on a Welsh adaptation of the story.

Lucy has gone on to write stories for older readers and her latest book Flower Girl is a magical story about a girl made by magic from the flowers of an enchanted blossom tree, who is desperate to fit in, illustrated by Rebecca Harry.
