Lorin A. Cartwright, MS, ATC, is assistant principal and athletic director at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. As a teacher and the school's head athletic trainer for more than 15 years, she has extensive experience with all aspects of instruction of student athletic trainers. Rene Revis Shingles, PhD, ATC, is the director and associate professor in the department of physical education and sport at Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant. Revis Shingles has presented extensively on cultural competence and diversity and has over 20 years of experience in teaching at the collegiate level.
