Professor Peter Jones has been an active supporter of school mathematics over many years and helped pioneer the introduction of the graphics calculator into Victorian Schools. Peter is a vastly experienced writer of mathematical texts and he is lead author on two of the texts in the Essential VCE Mathematics series. His area of expertise is applied statistics. Associate Professor Kay Lipson currently teaches statistics at undergraduate and graduate level, as well as conducting courses for industry and government. She is the co-author of several current secondary mathematics textbooks. David is an experienced author having written a number of books in the area of General Maths and graphics calculators. He is currently Head of Mathematics, Preshil, The Margaret Lyttle Memorial School, Kew. Barbara has worked at Monash University as a Mathematics Method lecturer in the Education Faculty and is an experienced Mathematics teacher. She is currently teaching at Sandringham Secondary College. Sue Avery is an experienced VCE maths teacher, and an experienced writer of the Essential series at the VCE level. She has conducted student seminars on VCE preparation in Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics and has also been involved in maths research work for the VCAA.
