Kathryn Cave is an award-winning author of books for children of all ages. Her story Something Else (illustrated by Chris Riddell) has sold over half a million copies and won the under-8s section of the first UNESCO award for Children's Literature in the Service of Tolerance. Kathryn loves author visits and is in demand for storybag workshops in schools all over the UK. She lives in Hampstead, London.



Nick Maland has illustrated many books for children. He won the overall prize in the V&A Illustration Awards for You've Got Dragons and was shortlisted for the Mother Goose award for Welcome Nights and Other Poems, and won the Society of Illustrators Silver Medal for Snip! Snap! What's That? Nick lives in Brighton.
