Julia Wills was born in Stafford and moved to Warwickshire via Australia and Oxford, which is not the straightest route. Born in January, she is a Capricorn - the zodiac goat with horns as curly as Aries'. Unlike Aries though, she is not bald with a wobbly bottom. Well, not quite! Julia has worked for a big oil company, looking after their photo library; for a big sausage maker, helping decide which colour packets their sausages looked best in; and at a village primary school, where she discovered that what children want most from a book is a good giggle. As 'Miss Wills', her favourite lesson to teach was history, since it was there that she and the children first discovered the Ancient Greeks and their fabulous monsters.
