Beth Webb always wanted to write, but couldn't think of any stories until she moved to Somerset where she became an avid reader of traditional folk stories and is fascinated by the links between landscape, history and myth. Since then she's never stopped writing, producing Junk Yard Dragon for younger children, the Fleabag books for older children and the Star Dancer Series for teenagers to adults. She is a professional performance storyteller and a creative writing tutor. She has also worked as a radio producer, broadcaster and a psychological illustrator.
