Jo Keeling went to University to study Law with full intentions of becoming a Barrister or Solicitor, but wanting to gain further insight into the legal system she took temporary employment within a police station in an administrative capacity. After being taken out as a Civilian observer and thoroughly enjoying it, she became a Special Constable (a voluntary Police Officer), later becoming a Police Officer in 2000 with the Hampshire Constabulary. Jo developed severe allergies, which later became the very true story of Izzy and Ollie Adventure in an Ambulance, where her 2 year old daughter, Izzy, phoned the emergency services, potentially saving her life. Jo wrote Adventure in an Ambulance in the hopes of teaching other young children the skills they may need in an emergency.
