Mari Ono is an expert in origami and all forms of papercrafts. Born in Japan, she has lived in the United Kingdom for many years with her artist husband, Takumasa, where they both work to promote Japanese arts and crafts. Her previous books include Wild and Wonderful Origami, Fly, Origami, Fly, Origami for Children and The Simple Art of Japanese Papercrafts , also available from CICO.
Hiroaki Takai is a master of origami, running several websites dedicated to folding all kinds of amazing objects. He has a particular passion for dinosaurs and loves the challenge of making models of the latest archaeological discoveries.
The authors are based in Churchdown, Gloucestershire and Japan.
