Ekaterina Trukhan was born and grew up in Russia, and has loved to draw for as long as she can remember. She moved to London to study a degree in Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts. While studying she came second in the Macmillan Prize twice. The wonderfully charming Me and My Cat is Ekaterina's debut picture book, and it was inspired by her own cat, Moris. Ekaterina lives with her husband in South East London, which she likes very much, although she misses Moris, who enjoys his life in Russia.
