Highlights for Children magazine for ten years and is one of the founders of the International Reading Association. Dr. Barbe lives in Beach Lake, Pennsylvania.
Dennis Hockerman has illustrated many books for children, including Goodnight, Little Kitten by Nancy Christensen. He lives in Mequon, Wisconsin.
