Danielle A. Vann grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As the only child, she loved to write stories and create wild characters. That love of writing sparked her career in journalism. Her career as a news reporter and anchor earned her an Associate Press Award. Her book genres span a wide-range from children's books, fiction, and now non-fiction. Danielle is the author of Gracie Lou and the Bad Dream Eater, The Very Tall Tale of Ranger, the Great Pyrenees and his Adorable Friend, Miss Keys, The Whizbang Machine and the Whizbang series and Building Faith Through A Carpenter's Hand. She serves as the marketing specialist for Waldorf Publishing, and lives with her husband and three children in Texas.
