    Clara Vulliamy Biography
    Clara Vulliamy is a British author and illustrator, best known for her preschool series Martha and the Bunny Brothers and the Dixie O'Day series created with her famous author mother Shirley Hughes

    Born in London in 1962, Clara loved drawing and writing stories from an early age. She went on to study Fine Art at the Chelsea School of Art, The Ruskin (Oxford) and The Royal Academy. Clara began illustrating for newspapers and magazines then moved into children's picture books when she had her own children. She's illustrated over 35 books working with various authors.
