Johnette Downing is an award-winning singer and songwriter who performs original childrens music inspired by her Louisiana heritage. Her accolades include eight Parents Choice Awards, two Parents Guide to Childrens Media Awards, five National Parenting Publications awards, four iParenting Media Awards, a Family Choice award, and a Family Review Center Seal of Approval award. She is the author of numerous childrens books, including Pelicans Down in Louisiana. Christina Wald specializes in illustration and toy, giftware, and product design. Some of her clients include Scholastic and Hasbro, Inc. Wald graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning with a BS in industrial design. She is the illustrator of Pelicans Annie Jump Cannon, Astronomer and Why the Possum Has a Large Grin. Wald lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.
