Sara Latta has been writing about science and scientists for over 25 years, covering everything from microbes to volcanoes. Her book "Ice Scientist: Careers in the Frozen Antarctic," was named an NSTA-CBC Outstanding Science Trade Book for Students. She lives in New York City with her husband and her dog, Count Basie. Karen Kenney is a prolific author who has written numerous books for children, from titles on science through to issues topics, activity books and fiction. She writes for publishers in both the UK and the United States, where she lives.
