Brian Krumm is a writer and editor with more than 15 years of experience working in educational publishing. Also a songwriter and musician, Krumm recently wrote a guide for young musicians starting their first bands as well as books about art, history, and chocolate. A history series that Krumm edited, Snapshots in History, was awarded a Distinguished Achievement Award from the Association of Educational Publishers, and a graphic novel series he worked on was honored by the Chicago Book Clinic. Krumm lives in Chicago with his wife and two daughters. Adam Guillain lives near Oxford with his wife, Charlotte, their two children. They include several best-selling picture books, board books, chapter books, and a series of choose-your-own-adventure style books. She loves swimming, animals and learning new things when she writes books. Rebecca Rissman is an award-winning children's author and editor. Her writing has been praised by School Library Journal, Booklist, Creative Child Magazine, and Learning Magazine. She has written more than 200 books about history, culture, science, and art. She lives in Chicago, Illinois with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys yoga, reading, and cooking. Mark Weakland wears many hats. As an author, he's written books for teachers, including Super Core!: Turbocharging Your Basal Reading Program with More Reading, Writing, and Word Work, published by the International Reading Association. His book topics for children include sports, bacteria, comets, and poetry. Mark's also a reading specialist. He teaches kindergarten children, third graders, parents, and teachers. As a musician and songwriter, Mark sings, plays percussion, and strums the guitar. Many of his songs, including "I Sure Love Pancakes" and "The Dooflicky Machine," have won national awards and contests. Mark lives in Western Pennsylvania.
