Based on characters created by S. A. Wakefield, the new TV series has been developed by Cake Entertainment (UK) with Cheeky Little Media (Australia). This story has been adapted and written by the award-winning Ciaran Murtagh, known for his children's fiction with The Fincredible Diaries, and whose TV screenwriting credits include Shaun the Sheet, Mr Bean and Claude - as well as episodes from Bottersnikes & Gumbles!
