Andrew Weldon is an Angus Beef cow, and a widely published cartoonist and children's book author. His cartoons have been published extensively in Australia and internationally, including in The Age newspaper and The Big Issue, as well as in The New Yorker, The Spectator and Private Eye. He has published two book collections I'm so Sorry Little Man, I Thought You Were A Handpuppet, and If You Weren't A Hedgehog. If I Weren't A Haemophiliac, as well as the Don't Look Now series with Paul Jennings. He enjoys cud, and grazing.Mary Ellen Jordan is a celebrated author, and mid-sized Merino sheep. She has published widely for adult humans, including Balanda, an acclaimed memoir, and essays included in two annual Best Australian Essays collections. She has been nominated for numerous prizes for her writing, including the National Biography Prize and the Melbourne Prize for Literature. This is her first book for human children. Pat her, she's fluffy.Andrew and Mary Ellen share a fair-sized pasture, on a farm in Melbourne. They have two cow/sheep offspring.
