Michelle Tea is the author of memoirs, novels, poetry, and, most recently, the essay collection How to Grow Up. She is the founder and executive director of RADAR Productions, a literary nonprofit, and editor of Sister Spit Books, an imprint of City Lights. She is a former writer of horoscopes and a current reader of tarot cards. She lives in Los Angeles. Amanda Verwey is an illustrator and cartoonist based in Los Angeles. She has published four comic books, has a short story in the Qu33r anthology (Northwest Press, 2014), and her illustrations are featured in the opening credits of the Valencia movie.
