    Virginia Miller, who also publishes under the name Virginia Austin, lived and worked in New Zealand before moving to England a few years ago. Squeak-a-Lot, her first children's book, was runner-up for the prestigious Mother Goose Award in 1991. She has since illustrated Sailor Bear; Small Bear Lost, Kate's Giants; Say Please! and five other stories about the bears Bartholomew and George, On Your Potty!: Get Into Bed!; Eat Your Dinner!; Be Gentle! and I Love You Just The Way You Are.
