Simon Chadwick is an author, illustrator and cartoonist based in the New Forest in the UK. He's created over twenty children's books to date. Simon's cartoon work has appeared on children's material for many of the UK's leading restaurant, leisure and travel brands, and for clients in the UK, America, Canada, South Korea, Greece, the Middle East and Australia. He particularly enjoys drawing wildlife, fantastical beasts, monsters and dinosaurs. Especially dinosaurs.
Dr Steven Howard is a researcher with Early Start at University of Wollongong in Australia. His program of research investigates the development of self-regulation and related abilities in the early years of life, as well as the educational implications of these changing capacities. In addition to his work around supporting children's self-regulation development (this series and Quincey Quokka's Quest), he is also a co-founder of the iPad-based Early Years Toolbox to assess preschoolers' executive functioning and self-regulation (to which Simon Chadwick was also a contributor).
