Jill Barber is an award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter and author with four albums of original music, an album of classic French covers and a bestselling baby board book to her credit. Sydney Smith has been drawing from an early age. Since graduating NSCAD University (Nova Scotia College of Art and Design), he has illustrated numerous children's books, including Mabel Murple, Toes in my Nose and There Were Monkeys in My Kitchen. In 2015 he was awarded the Governor General's Award, among various other accolades. Originally from Nova Scotia, he now lives in Toronto, Ontario, with his wife and son.
