James Newman Gray
5 stars across 7 books
Suzy Senior has worked in publishing since she was old enough to be let loose in a company car. She had a fabulous time visiting bookshops across Scotland and the North of England, until she had two lovely children and had to calm down a little. In her spare time she likes to write books for children, but usually has to clean out the guinea pigs instead. She was shortlisted in the National Literacy Trust and Bloomsbury Children's Books Poetry Prize 2015. James Newman Gray is an exceptionally talented illustrator. He specialised in Illustration at Wolverhampton University and has had a successful career working in greetings cards, where his ability to change styles has been very useful - varying from contemporary designs and characters, to hand lettering, cute characters and detailed line-work. James has now brought his talents to children's book illustration, where his adorable creations really bring the pages to life. He is a self-proclaimed cat person and collects vintage synthesizers.
