From a very young age Emily Bearman enjoyed drawing and painting. She also developed a fascination for animations, teaching herself the tricks of the trade. At the age of sixteen, one of her animations was broadcast on the BBC after coming second in a competition; this successful animation was also shown at Christies in London. Emily Bearman went on to do a Degree in Computer Character Animation and a Fine Arts Degree. Emily currently works as an illustrator and graphic designer at a media company in the North-East of the UK. Her passion for illustration and storytelling led to her popular debut picture storybook, 'Danny The Dragon And The Pot Of Gold'.
