This exciting educational fiction book follows the adventures of Smudge, a colourful French Bulldog, and teaches young readers all about the planets and where they are located in the solar system.
When the rocket lands on Planet Fun! Smudge is greeted by King Krump and the Funky Krumps (street dancing aliens) who give him a very warm welcome. Smudge then goes to a party in Krump Hall and has fun in a fruity playground and watches a firework display beside a wobbly jelly lake.
Smudge has a great time and the King gives him a gift as he leaves then Smudge discovers that it's all been a dream and next time he goes to sleep he's heading off to have a jungle with animals galore so join him if you're brave enough to discover and explore.
The book is written in catchy rhyme and includes four planet related activity sheets and a funky rap which teaches children about the characteristics of each planet in a fun and interactive way.
