Bought this for my year 2 class to use for a predictions lesson. The children absolutely loved it and the links to real animals was fab for non fiction work afterwards. Very funny for both children and adults alike. Fabulous!

Another fabulously funny book by Kes Gray.

Such a wonderful array of strangely named and unique animals kept my eldest really engaged. And trying to read the last few pages without laughing out loud has proven very difficult!

Would definitely recommend this book to anyone thinking of buying it.

A book that contains the words poo, booby, snot & winkle is always going to be a winner in our house...particularly if written by Kes Gray & illustrated by Nikki (Doodle) Dyson!!

A really simple but very effective funny picture book...animals with funny names, that get sillier and funnier page after page...surely Kes must’ve made them up...or did he!?

Great illustrations, very funny ending!

Lo loves the ‘facts and snaps’ page at the end”. We’ve talked a lot about all of the creatures...

Great for EVERYONE!

A favourite on our bookshelf that has been read many times. Always has the children laughing at the names of the creatures and pointing at the illustrations.

My daughter found this book hilarious,it's full of animals with silly names so lots of giggles. I found it slightly tedious to read as every page ends with the same sentence. There's a lovely page at the end with pictures and facts about the real animals which we enjoyed looking at together
