On an evening where you really ought to be revising your chemistry work for the test tomorrow, instead you find yourself whisked away by drone on a bizarre adventure with a green-eyed talking cat, Buster. Plonked unceremoniously in front of a building with strange period architecture, you meet an eccentric scientist and end up helping out with the building's upcoming party.
He is also conducting dangerous experiments in his basement, all of which have, so far, resolved in abject failure: broken glass, dashed dreams, and an overwhelming stench. As the party starts, all manner of guests arrive and all manner of strange events ensue. There's the debonair, fire-fearing H; the heavy metal duo Ozzy and Pablo; a former copper, and the woman he strongly suspects of poisoning her husband, who has now set up a stand of dubious party food.
This is a strange turn of events, curious and confusing, though you have to admit that it's better than revising. But what is going on with this strange house, exactly? Could there be some hidden meaning behind it all?
